Community at the Catch

God Calls Us to Community

God calls us into community. In the New Testament, the church was the ekklesia—the assembly, the gathering of God’s people. Hebrews reminds believers not to forsake assembling together.

For much of history, gathering meant being in the same place. Today, distance does not have to keep us apart. Technology allows us to talk, pray, learn, encourage one another, and build relationships across hundreds or even thousands of miles.

The Catch uses that technology to provide places where people can genuinely connect.

The Lunch Counter

The Lunch Counter is our social community—a place to meet people, create a profile, share updates, join groups, and take part in the everyday life of the Catch.

It is designed for friendship, encouragement, informal conversation, and community building in a welcoming, moderated environment.

Conversations That Matter

Conversations That Matter is our topic-centered discussion community. It is designed for longer conversations around subjects such as ministry, prayer and praise, Bible study, writing, music, and other special interests.

Registered members can start discussions, respond to others, and participate in moderated forums built around subjects that matter.
