When we were younger, many of us gathered around a table or squeezed into a corner booth, pulled out our books, and studied together for the next big test.
These days, it can feel as though every day brings another test. Questions about faith, relationships, culture, purpose, and how to live faithfully in a complicated world do not always come with easy answers.
The Study Group is a place to pull out our books, beginning with THE BOOK, and work through those questions together. Here we can learn, discuss, challenge one another, and grow in our understanding of Scripture and of the world around us.
We may not be studying for a final exam anymore, but the lessons still matter. And we still learn better when we learn together.
Study Opportunities
The Study Group gives MemberPartners several ways to dig deeper into Scripture, whether you prefer working on your own, meeting live with others, or joining a discussion when your schedule allows.
Bible Study Tools
Today, online resources can bring something close to a seminary library into your own home. Searchable Bibles, commentaries, lexicons, concordances, and books by respected Christian writers are all available online.
We make it easier to find and use these resources so you can spend less time searching for tools and more time studying the Bible.
Live Zoom Bible Studies
Beginning in November, we will meet live once a week for our midweek Bible study discussions.
These Zoom gatherings will give MemberPartners an opportunity to study Scripture together, ask questions, share insights, and learn from one another in real time.
Flex Bible Studies
You cannot always make it to a live Bible study at a particular day and time. Flex Bible Studies provide another option.
These studies are built around an online discussion forum. You can enter the study when it fits your schedule, work through the material at your own pace, and participate in the conversation with other MemberPartners along the way.
The schedule may be flexible, but the study is still something we do together.
Courses and Workshops
From time to time, we will also offer more formal courses and workshops for those who want to go deeper into a subject or develop a particular skill.
These may include Bible and theology courses as well as practical workshops related to ministry, communication, writing, and other areas of interest to the Catch community.
MemberPartners will receive reduced pricing on these courses and workshops as one of the benefits of membership.
